Granite is one of the most durable stones available. It is formed when the molten magma begins to cool inside the earth's surface. It is usually black (due to the mica) and usually has a granular fleck type or swirling marble-like pattern. Granite can be provided in either tile or slab form and is an excellent material to use for virtually any residential or commercial application. It can also be used in outdoor applications whether as a flooring or wall cladding material.

Marble is created from excessive heat and pressure which alters the materials original form, usually limestone. This heat and pressure also causes a veining and clouding of the material colour which provides marble with its intrinsic beauty. Also, the ability to give it a very high gloss finish makes it the perfect material to provide a classy elegant finish. The typical application for marble is for fireplace surrounds and bathroom vanities. Marble is also available in both tile and slab forms.

Limestone is a porous sedimentary rock that is made up of compressed sand and shells and has a more softer honed finish to it. Limestone is typically used in the same applications as marble
